Rogue Ops Announced for the PS2

Kemco USA has announced the action-adventure game Rogue Ops for all next-generation consoles. Developed by Bits Studios, the game will have players assuming the role of Nikki Connors, an ex-Green Beret who must fight against the terrorist organization Omega 19. Rogue Ops will feature eight missions, as Connors struggles to face the terrorists group with her fellow team members. Omega 19 is not only a threat to the free world, but it has affected Connors personally; the group has killed both her daughter and husband.

Rogue Ops will also feature an assortment of weapons, including pistols, a dart gun, a sniper rifle, grenades, mines, and an infrared gadget that combines low-light and X-ray vision. The game his heavily based on stealth maneuvering and various other mission objectives, such as pick-pocketing and concealing dead bodies.

"We are extremely excited about the promise of Rogue Ops," said Glenn Halseth, vice president of sales and marketing for Kemco. "Early feedback on the title is that we have something very special and we are eager to place it in the hands of gamers later this year."
