Need for Speed Underground Announced

  Electronic Arts officially announced today Need for Speed Underground. The driving game allows players to buy custom kits and use the cash they earn by winning events for other car modifications. Several parts are available from providers, including AEM, Audiobahn, Bilstein, Dazz Motorsport, DC Sports, Eibach, Enkei, GReddy Performance Products, HKS, Holley, Injen, Jackson Racing, MOMO, Neuspeed, Nitrous Espress, OZ. s.P.a., PIAA, Skunk2 Racing, Sparco, SteretGlow and Turbonetics. Need for Speed Underground will also feature 20 customizable cars from manufacturers, including Toyota, Subaru, and Mitsubishi. The game will consist of street racing and drag racing, as Need for Speed Underground hosts an assortment of environments.

   Need for Speed Underground is scheduled for release early next year.
