Logitech Announces New PS2 USB Headset

A new USB headset has been announced by Logitech for the PlayStation 2. Expected for release later this month, the headset will feature a digital USB processor, a noise-canceling microphone for improved audio quality, an adjustable headband, velvet and foam interchangeable ear pads, and a 10-foot cable.

"The bundle of SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs from Sony Computer Entertainment America with a Logitech headset broke new ground by providing gamers with a great game featuring command recognition and voice-over-IP functionality, plus a high-quality headset in a single-package solution for the PlayStation 2," said Fred Swan, director of marketing for Logitech's audio and interactive entertainment business unit. "This new retail USB headset allows these gamers the opportunity to enjoy the same high level of headset performance and compatibility with additional comfort and cosmetic features."
