Stunt Car Racer Pro and Lost Toys Team Up
Geoff Crammond's game company Simergy has announced that it has signed Lost Toys to work on its upcoming racing sequel. The game is called Stunt Car Racer Pro and is the follow-up to the Commodore 64 racing game Stunt Car Racer. Lost Toys has worked on such games as MoHo and Battle Engine Aquila and will be responsible for the art and graphics technology of the game; Geoff Crammond will focus on game physics and AI.
"Lost Toys will be key to making Stunt Car Racer Pro a success," Crammond said. "I've chosen them because they have a proven track record of producing great multiformat titles on time and to budget. I also believe this team understands perfectly just how strong Simergy's commitment is to quality and playability."
"We were delighted when Geoff approached us to work with him on an evolution to Stunt Car Racer," said Jeremy Longley, managing director, Lost Toys. "It's an incredibly exciting project, and one we're really looking forward to working on."
