E3 2003: EA Unveils E3 Lineup

With E3 right around the corner, Electronic Arts has revealed its E3 software roster for the PS2, and it's pretty impressive. EA Sports will be taking the lead with 2004 versions of Madden, NBA Live, NASCAR, NHL Hockey, FIFA Soccer, Rugby, and Tiger Woods PGA Tour Golf. Many of these games look to have some key improvements this year, with several being online-enabled.

Sports aren't all that EA is bringing to the big show this year, though. Look for a new 007 title, called James Bond 007: Everything or Nothing, which will take place in a third-person perspective, rather than the first-person view that PS2 owners have come to expect. A new Sims title, titled The Sims: Bustin' Out, is also due to make its debut at E3. Other titles of interest include Bionicle, Freedom: Soldiers of Liberty, Harry Potter: Quidditch World Cup, The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King, Looney Tunes: Back in Action, Medal of Honor: Rising Sun, Need for Speed Underground, and SSX 3.

Needless to say, E3 is shaping up to be another blockbuster event this year, and we look forward to bringing you the news as we get it. Stay tuned to PSX Extreme for your E3 info.
