PS3 DRAM Provider Revealed

   Bloomberg is reporting that Elpida Memory will be supplying DRAM memory for the PlayStation 3 console. The Elpida DRAM will use high-speed Rambus technology, according to the report. Both NEC and Hitachi have major stakes in Elpida Memory, and DRAM is their specialty.

   Slowly but surely, the pieces surrounding the PlayStation 3 puzzle are falling into place, and we'll be on the lookout for more PS3 morsels of knowledge as the days and weeks go by.
