Global Gaming League Announced
Former Fox Family Channel and Saban Entertainment executive Eric Rollman is heading up a team of dedicated videogame enthusiasts in hopes of turning gaming into a professional sport this summer. The organization will be known as the Global Gaming League and will attempt to create star players and fans similar to other sporting events. Rollman desires to provide top-notch entertainment where gaming teams can compete for cash, prizes, and endorsements. Also, the GGL will feature an athlete management division that is responsible for identifying, signing, and managing top prospects interested in V-Sports.
"We have created a name and a home in the GGL for V-Sports athletes to gain recognition for their skill and commitment to this business that already generates over 20 billion dollars in worldwide revenues," said Rollman. "With more than 145 million players, this is arguably one of the most popular sports on the planet."
