NCAA Football 2004 Goes Gold
Electronic Arts announced today that NCAA Football 2004 has gone gold and is heading to the presses for production. The game is expected to be in stores on July 17th. Last year's game was only surpassed by Madden NFL 2003 in terms of sales.
Chip Lange, EA's Vice President, made this statement: "NCAA Football 2004 kicks off this season with a lot of momentum. Last year, college fans pushed this franchise well over the million-unit mark -- hundreds of thousands of copies more than the pro game of our next closest competitor. This year, we hope to repeat that victory with unique college gameplay and the ability to square off against your rivals online."
NCAA Football 2004 will have online capability for only the PlayStation 2 console, and will support voice chat, called EA Sports Talk, via the USB headset.
We're definitely looking forward to seeing how NCAA Football 2004 stacks up against last year's superb effort. Look for our full review shortly after the game's release.
