Spy Fiction Announced
Access Games, a new game publisher, has announced a game called Spy Fiction for the PlayStation 2, according to Famitsu magazine. The game has taken three years to plan and two years to develop, as players are able to experience numerous spy scenes out of Hollywood. Range Murata (Groove on Fight, Submarine No. 6) is in charge of character design, with main characters Billy Bishop and Sheila Crawford in the player's control. These characters are agents in an organization called SEA, an intelligence sector that is attempting to disarm a terrorist that has been involved in specific international attacks. Equipment in the game includes a camouflage suit that causes the player to become transparent when standing still.
In terms of gameplay and other details, very limited information has been released. Early assumptions compare the game to the Metal Gear Solid series, as the storyline and screenshots bear a striking resemblence to Konami's franchise. We'll keep you updated on any further details concerning Spy Fiction.
