Sony Online Prepares for Two New Titles

Sony Online Entertainment announced today that it will publish two games for the Playstation. The games are currently unannounced and are in development at Lodestone Games and SolWorks. Official details on both games are expected later this week.

"We're working hand in hand with two very talented game production houses in order to expand the breadth and depth of SOE's impact on the online gaming market," said John Smedley, president of Sony Online. "Both Lodestone and SolWorks have great track records when it comes to game development. We have very high expectations for the products they are going to deliver and we are very excited to be working with them."

Lodestone is based out of Charlottesville, Virginia and was founded in 2001. The company is known for the hosting technology used in PlanetSide and real-time weather system featured in the massively multiplayer action game. SolWorks is located in Carlsbad, California and is credited with the NHL FaceOff series.
