Roadkill goes gold

Roadkill, one of Midway's upcoming titles that was on display at this year's E3, has gone gold, and is scheduled to ship to retailers next month. Roadkill is a mission based combat-driving game that will feature an in-depth radio system similar to those found in the Grand Theft Auto series.

In addition to licensed songs by famous bands and artists such as Blue Oyster Cult and Rick Springfield, the in-game radio will also feature "local bands", as well as area specific advertising, programming, and weather reporting that will change based on which locale you visit in the game. There is also a rather interesting feature known as the police channel, which gives players updates during the gameplay.
