Midway tells more about future Spy Hunter for PS2.

Midway's Spy Hunter is one of the videogame industry's classics, and the shoot-em-up is remembered my many gamers to this day. Now that the title is coming to PlayStation 2, gamers will be able to experience the title on the latest technology.

The game's producer, Michael Gottlieb, has told sources, "The gameplay and feel of Spy Hunter has been morphed into a 3D world. Enemies are now much smarter -- instead of merely driving up next to the Spy Hunter and trying to run him off the road, the enemies unexpectedly blast out of ambush points, organize into strategic formations and fire at you from all directions. On the flip side, the Spy Hunter's vehicle has been upgraded to include many more sophisticated weapons, including some experimental weapons." The classics of this industry obviously had some of the greatest gameplay ever seen, but due to their age, were limited visually. With the advanced processing power of the PlayStation 2, video gaming classics now finally have the chance to be fully realized, and younger gamers now have the opportunity to make up for lost time.
