Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance II Goes Gold

Interplay Entertainment Corp. and Vivendi Universal Games announced that Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance II has gone gold and will ship to retail outlets on January 20, 2004.

Set in the Dungeons & Dragons campaign of the Forgotten Realms, under license from Hasbro, Inc. and Wizards of the Coast, the title, headed for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox platforms, will serve up over 80 levels of game play along with five new customizable characters and an item creation system.

Developed by Interplay’s Black Isle Studio, the game will be distributed by VU Games in North America and Asia-Pacific (not including Japan).
