Timesplitters Goes to EA

Electronic Arts has inked a distribution and publishing deal with UK-based Free Radical Design that will see EA publish the next entry in the TimeSplitters franchise. Eidos published the first pair of titles in the franchise, which sold over 2.0 million combined copies. The third, due out in 2005, will be published by EA Partners and promises “improved game play, unprecedented graphics, all new story and online play.” Steve Ellis, chairman of Free Radical Design, commented, "We're already working hard on the next game, and hope that, with the help of EA Partners, we can reach many new players all over the world."
