Memory cards are announced to be back on track.

As many of you know, Playstation 2 was a major hit when it was released in Japan. At first, the problem was finding a system in the stores due to low supply. A few days after the release there were a lot of people reporting glitches in the memory cards that tend to screw up the DVD drives, erase or corrupt the data on the cards. Sony realized that they have a problem on their hands with these cards and had to halt the production of them.

Finally the company announced that the memory cards are now fixed and will be out in the stores on March 31st. Since these cards are now available, the Japanese gamers will see many more PS2 units on the store shelves as well.
