EA Gets Catwoman

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has awarded Electronic Arts the interactive rights to the upcoming Catwoman motion picture. The multi-year deal grants EA the right to develop, publish and distribute games for all current and next generation videogame consoles, as well as handhelds and the PC. Catwoman, from Warner Bros. Pictures and Village Roadshow Pictures, is based on a DC Comics property and is scheduled for release on July 30. Halle Berry stars as the feline-like character, with support from Benjamin Bratt, Sharon Stone and Lambert Wilson. EA also noted that it now holds similar rights to produce games based on Superman.
