Remember Need for Speed Underground, the game that took last year's holiday season by storm? EA today announced the sequel, appropriately titled Need for Speed Underground 2, will be released this fall. Under development by the same team as the first, the sequel will feature five city districts. Each district will contain rival racers and new challenges.
With over 30 licensed cars, Need for Speed Underground 2 will also double the amount of cosmetic upgrades available to the player. According to EA, there will be over 70 billion possible combinations between cars and the cosmetic upgrades.
After the success of last year's title, EA definitely knows that a lot is hinging on this title. Be sure to check back with us for more details during E3.
