Konami announces the shipment of Gradius III and IV.

Today, Konami of America announced that Gradius III and IV are to be available in retailers November 14. The titles are to be available for PlayStation 2, and can be picked up at electronics retailers across the country. The updated versions of the popular series are set to boast enhancements, which include additional play modes, environmental mapping, polygon morphing, as well as a play mode which tones down the challenge for beginners. Additionally, the latest installments of the classic franchise are to feature CG sequences specially created for this special edition.

"Gradius III and IV delivers a highly anticipated package that showcases our classics beautifully," stated Wilson Cheng, the Product Manager for Konami. He elaborated, "There has been a tremendous demand for a re-issue of these titles and we're very pleased that we can give back to the fans of the franchise in this deluxe edition." The titles, as mentioned, are to be available today, and carry an SRP of $39.99, and has been rated 'E' for everyone by the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB).
