Death Jr. Film and Comic Adoptions Underway

The little guy with a scythe has already wormed his way into the hearts of Hollywood, even before we've gotten to know him. The Death Jr. property, star of Sony's PSP showing at the Game Developers Conference, has been optioned for a movie adoption by Circle of Confusion in conjunction with Orange Grove Entertainment, the folks behind Cats & Dogs.

Comic fans will also get their Death Jr. fix later this year, courtesy of Gary Whitta and Ted Naifeh.

How do the folks over at Backbone Entertainment, creators of Death Jr., feel about all this attention? "We feel Death, Jr. exemplifies our interest in bringing cutting-edge properties to the forefront of the Hollywood mainstream and other mediums," answered Jon Goldman, CEO of Backbone Entertainment.

Well played Jon. We'll keep you updated as Death Jr. continues to climb the ladder of success.
