E3 2004: Sega Superstars

Sega had a playable version of their new EyeToy game, Sega SuperStars, at E3. Only two mini-games were selectable, House of the Dead and Sonic the Hedgehog.

House of the Dead seemed quite similar to the Kung Fu game included with EyeToy: Play. The only difference was, apart from the undead theme, that various civilians appear on screen during House of the Dead, and take away one heart when hit.

We were unable to put in time the Sonic game, though the general reaction was less than enthusiastic.

To be fair, Sega SuperStars was quite early and does have a large amount of potential, especially in the Samba de Amigo mini-game. We'll have more as SuperStars approaches its fall release.
