T3: Redemption Hits Stores

Continuing the wave of games shipping and going gold in preperation for the holidays, Atari's Terminator 3: The Redemption has shipped to stores. T3: Redemption will let you control Arnold Schwarzenegger as the Terminator, and the game continues along the "Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines" movie storyline, but then branches in new directions, including an alternate future scenario inhabited only by SkyNet forces. It also features a "surprise ending", which hints at a possible future for the T-850 Terminator model played by Schwarzenegger.

"Terminator 3: The Redemption gives gamers an opportunity to experience the world of Terminator like never before -- they can go places and do things that have only been hinted at in the films," said Jim Galis, the game's executive producer.

Terminator 3: The Redemption is available now for the PlayStation 2, the Xbox and the Nintendo GameCube for an estimated retail price of $39.95 and is rated "T" for Teen.
