SCEI announces release dates for Gran Turismo 3, Ace Combat 4.
In a recent announcement at Sony's PlayStation 2 Party, Sony Computer Entertainment (SCE) stated that Gran Turismo 3, the company's sequel to one of the most successful driving games in videogaming history, will be released in Japan on February 15 of 2001. In addition to this significant announcement, Sony confirmed Holiday with Toro, a game whose title character is the mascot from the successful Dokodemo Issho: another Sony title. Additionally, an atypical game entitled Rimokokoron was announced by Sony. The game's peculiarity stems from its gameplay, in which the object is to annoy and hassle other people. I have a few acquaintances who could master this title overnight. No official release date has been cited as of yet for the two games.
Finally, Ace Combat 4, a flight combat title from Namco, was also displayed at Sony's event. The PlayStation 2 game will hit Japanese retailers in the summer of 2001.
