PlayStation 2 suffers further setbacks.

Sony has seemingly stumbled on every conceivable roadblock while releasing and marketing the PlayStation 2, as the company has experienced everything from component shortages to trade disputes. However, Sony now has another problem on its hands regarding the new system. SCE has recently announced that the new PlayStation 2 18000 model has compatibility issues with isolated PS2 titles; among which are Idea Factory's Sky Surfer, Konami's Reiselied, and T&E Soft's Golf Paradise. SCE has asked Japanese customers affected by the problem to contact the tech support lines of the appropriate company to obtain relevant information.
