Rockstar Bringing GTA and Midnight Club To PSP

Rockstar Games has officially announced two games forthcoming this Spring for Sony's PSP handheld.

The two titles in question are Grand Theft Auto and Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition.

Both games are being developed by Rockstar's Leeds studio, in conjunction with Rockstar North and Rockstar San Diego.

Grand Theft Auto will be set in Liberty City, the environment from Grand Theft Auto III. Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition will be a PSP conversion of the company's upcoming PS2 game of the same name, which features co-branding with DUB magazine.

"Bringing two of our most successful game franchises to this thrilling new platform not only gives us an opportunity to create a new dimension for these already extraordinary series but also allows us to begin to explore the full potential of the PSP handheld system," said Sam Houser, President of Rockstar Games.

"We are working very closely with Rockstar North and Rockstar San Diego to ensure that both Grand Theft Auto and Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition remain faithful to the initial vision of these respective franchises," said Gordon Hall, President of Rockstar Leeds.
