NARC Goes Budget

We got an e-mail announcement from Midway Games in our inboxes today, letting us know that NARC, the company's upcoming 3rd person action game, will be released March 22nd for a budget price of $19.99.

Uh oh?

NARC has been in development for quite some time and many in the industry have voiced concerns, based upon preview copies and early screen grabs, that the game might not live up to its potential.

Midway officials, however, re-assured us today that the move wasn't made as a reflection of the game's quality, but rather as a result of research showing that the $20 price point leads to increased sales.
