Metal Slug 4 & 5 Coming

SNK Playmore announced today that the company will release a Metal Slug 4 & 5 bundle pack this summer for the PlayStation 2.

The pack will retail for $39.99 and include two discs - one each containing Metal Slug 4 and Metal Slug 5.

Those of you unfamiliar with the Metal Slug franchise may want to check it out if you're into side-scrolling shoot 'em ups of the same ilk as Contra. One thing that makes Metal Slug unique is the ability to hop into tanks, submarines, and airplanes at various points in each level.

Both games are arcade-to-home conversions. Metal Slug 4 has six stages. Metal Slug 5 has five. New features planned for the home release include a level select, adjustable credits, and multiple difficulty settings.
