PS2 News: Hip Interactive Europe Not Dead

Hip Interactive Europe Not Dead

Just a clarification to a story we brought you yesterday.

Hip Interactive Corp., a Canada-based publisher of video games and distributor of accessories, has entered bankruptcy and is expected to be liquidated.

However, the European arm of the company, Hip Interactive Europe, is still very much alive and well.

"Hip Interactive Europe will pursue its activities as a publisher, a distributor as well as a peripheral provider," says the company's official statement.

"Hip Interactive Europe confirms the upcoming releases, end of September, of its line-up with titles such as Rugby Challenge 2006, Garfield 'Saving Arlene' as well as its exciting line of accessories for all consoles including the Sony PSP handheld."
