Real Widescreen for the RE4
Capcom's Resident Evil 4 for the PS2 will support true anamorphic 16X9 widescreen, unlike the GC version which only supported 4X3 letterbox. If you own a 16X9 display this is huge. You gain 33% more vertical resolution by the enhancement while filling your widescreen display with no distortion. It will also support progressive scan as did the GC version.
When the game streets on October 25th it only going to set you back $39.99 and will be sporting a new gun, the P.R.L. 412. This PS2 exclusive shoots a laser which comes in handy for removing those pesky parasites.
