PS2 News: Rumor: Splinter Cell: Double Agent Delayed

Rumor: Splinter Cell: Double Agent Delayed

According to Gamefront.de, Splinter Cell: Double agent, the latest game in the popular spy series from Ubisoft, has been delayed. Double Agent was supposed to hit stores March 21st, but now will not be released until September 2006.

One reason that is being given for the delay is that the game will be simultaneously released for all systems, including the Xbox 360.

Until Ubisoft issues a statement, take this news as a rumor, but given the lack of media and news about the game recently, a delay certainly seems possible.
