Square's lineup at the E3 Expo.

SquareSoft has just announced its E3 Expo lineup for the year 2000. All of these titles are without a doubt some of the best creations that Square has done. The games which will appear at this years E3 from May 11-13 will be:

Chrono Cross: I (Arnold K.) say that this is without a doubt the greatest game ever. Check out the Import Review if you haven't done so already.

Threads of Fate: a.k.a Dew Prism in Japan, Threads of Fate is Square's overlooked title, but it is quite promising. It is an action adventure/RPG title.

Vagrant Story: My nominee for most the most unexpected arrival that provides some of the most unique gameplay features. Vagrant Story may only be 8-10 hours long, but the cinematic experience is not to be missed.

Final Fantasy IX: The most expected title, and the most awaited title is FF9. It will be released this July 21 of 2000, and hopefully this September-October. I have given Chrono Cross a perfect score, and I would give it a higher score if I could, but I'm limited to 10. It's going to take a whole lot to defeat Chrono Cross.

The Bouncer (PS2): Square's sort-of Ehrgeiz follow up which has received the tag "Seamless Action Battle". This is a mix of Streets of Rage, Ehrgeiz, Tekken and many other awesome games. The Bouncer will give the gamer all the freedom they want to explore the areas.

Legend of Mana: The sequel to the acclaimed SNES game Secret of Mana, Legend of Mana features great artistic visuals a lot like Saga Frontier 2. You can pick one of the two characters present, the game is scheduled to ship June 13, 2000.

Parasite Eve II: Another sequel to a smash hit, Parasite Eve 2 will appear at the E3 show, Aya Breas the cop from NY has returned and is prepared to take on new enemies.

Driving Emotion Type S (PS2): Square's pretty disappointing racer will arrive here in the US at the beginning of 2001. Japanese critics have bashed the game left and right, mostly because of the insane handling and the uncontrollable physics. Let's pray that the game is long of because Square will tighten up the physics.

Square's line up looks like it will be the best yet. Games like Final Fantasy 9, Chrono Cross and Vagrant Story will really make Square's booth the best one. The Bouncer has finally been announced for a Fall 2000 release in the US.
