Konami Ships a Pair for PS2

Konami has had a busy day today, announcing that not one, but two games have shipped for the PlayStation 2. Both CMT Presents: Karaoke Revolution Country and Suikoden V have shipped to retail stores nationwide.

About Karoke Revolution Country:
The first genre-specific Karaoke Revolution game, CMT Presents: Karaoke Revolution Country features 35 of the greatest country songs ever recorded, includes EyeToy support so you can place yourself in the game, and even an expanded multiplayer mode.

“Country is the third largest music genre and continues to grow in popularity due to its crossover appeal to a wide variety of music fans,” said Matt Knoles, Product Manager, Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. “Players will instantly be singing along with their favorite songs, while those new to this great genre of music will ‘cowboy up’ as soon as they pick up the microphone and experience the incredible variety of gameplay modes.”

CMT Presents: Karaoke Revolution Country comes bundled with a USB microphone for a SRP of $54.99 and it's also available as a standalone game, compatible with any USB headset or microphone for a SRP of $39.99.

About Suikoden V:
Like its predecessors in the Suikoden series, Suikoden V promises in-depth gameplay, 3-D environments, a deep storyline and the series’ trademark 108 Stars of Destiny. The game also expands upon the gameplay foundations of previous Suikoden titles with 6-member battle parties, multiple mini-games, and a Tactical Formation System that allows for over 20 strategic formations in battle. Players can also take part in huge military skirmishes, issuing commands to hundreds of troops on screen to stake their claim as their rightful ruler of Falena.

Suikoden V is available exclusively for the PlayStation 2 for an MSRP of $39.99 and is rated “T” for Teen by the ESRB.
