EA Collects Cover Athletes

Not content to have just one cover athlete for FIFA World Cup 2006, EA will be breaking up the duty by country featuring 10 different players on the front of the box. In case you're wondering, countries not listed will get a picture of the World Cup trophy on the front of the box.

“We are thrilled to have the world’s top athletes representing 2006 FIFA World Cup in each of these countries,” said Clive Downie, VP of Marketing, EA. “Game players around the globe are engaging in this phenomenal tournament by experiencing it for themselves through the video game.”

Alessandro Del Piero - Italy

Jamie Lozano - USA, Canada, Mexico

Simao - Portugal

Arjen Robben - Belgium, Netherlands, Luxemburg
