Final Fantasy XII Platinum
I think it's safe to say that the Japanese are kind of into Final Fantasy. How crazy are they for the series? Gamespot is reporting that in just four days the game went platinum, selling 1.764 million copies. To give you an idea of the title's dominance on the charts, the second place game, Animal Crossing: Wild World sold only 70,000 copies.
Okay, so this infatuation is just limited to the actual games, right? Ummm, no. Even the game's theme song "Kiss Me Goodbye" is a hit, reaching number six on the singles charts.
