Adriano Gets Winning Eleven Cover

With the World Cup in full swing (someone might want to let the US team know that it has started), Konami has taken the opportunity to announce the cover athlete for Winning Eleven: Pro Evolution Soccer 2007. Brazilian National Team and Inter Milan star Adriano Leite Ribeiro will grace the game's cover when it's released in January of 2007.

“The signing of Adriano reaffirms Konami’s commitment to working with the best soccer talent from around the world,” said Colin Ferris, Associate Product Manager at Konami Digital Entertainment Inc. “His incredible skills, tenacity and passion for winning are a perfect compliment to the game’s fast paced and realistic on-field action.”

Winning Eleven: Pro Evolution Soccer 2007 will be available for the PS2, PS3, PSP, Nintendo DS, PC, and for the first time, the Xbox 360.
