Jaffe Comments on God of War 2 and 3

In a recent blog post, David Jaffe, creator of the original God of War, comments on how the development of God of War 2 is coming along.

Says Jaffe, "I played a bunch of levels last week and it's really, really fun. The art and music is much better than the first game and there is some damn fine level design going on in the new game."

Fans of the franchise may be more excited by another comment made in the same post, where Jaffe opines, "I am very confident of our chances to be able to complete the GOD OF WAR trilogy."

Will we see God of War 3 for PlayStation 3 in late 2007 or 2008? Seems likely, doesn't it?
