Pink is Coming!

The white PSP caused a bit of a stir when European ads depicted a saucy silver-maned lass "dominating" a black female. While racist implications weren't implied, it nevertheless ruffled the feathers of a few activists.

Pink should hopefully prove easier to market! That's right, SCEE revealed today new hot pink models of the PS2 and PSP hardware, which are currently reserved exclusively for Europe. Despite the questionable handling of the above, the white PSP has been briskly outselling the black one throughout the continent, making another new color a good bet for an easy sell - especially to the female crowd.

We've got some photos of both the Pink PSP and the Pink PS2 for now, but Sony plans to have an official unveiling at this week's Leipzig Gaming Convention.
