Madden Fans Go Nuts, Buy A Lot of Copies

Yeesh! In one week, Madde 07 scored a record 2 million+ copies! Of course, once you consider that it's on just about every platform known on God's green earth (a.k.a. astroturf), the feat isn't nearly as epic. Still, it's good news for the franchise can sell so well despite any sense of competition and it's even up over last year's milestone - 1.8 million copies of Madden 06 were sold in the same period.

Just imagine the insanity next year when it'll be on even more consoles!
