Shadow Hearts confirmed for PS2.
Sancoth, a Japanese developer, recently confirmed their premiere RPG for Sony's 128-bit PlayStation 2. The game's title, Shadow Hearts, is only tentative, and may change by the time of its Japanese release this fall. While information on the title is relatively scarce, the game does boast the musical efforts of Yasunori Mitsuda, best known for his work on the critically acclaimed Chrono Cross. Shadow Hearts will take place in the early 20th century, spanning several locales, including Paris and China. The title's visuals bestow upon the game a unique atmosphere, featuring pre-rendered backgrounds and polygonal characters.
