Spike TV Video Game Awards 2006

Anyone who knows anything about the gaming industry knows that the Spike TV Video Game Awards Show is one of the biggest jokes out there for many of us. I like to think of them as the Nickelback of video game awards. Regardless of their irrelevance, some people find humor in the show as it's frequently been known to award games that are pretty undeserving. Really now, anyone that says Mortal Kombat: Armageddon was the best fighting game of 2006 over Tekken: Dark Resurrection and Street Fighter Alpha Anthology has absolutely no credibility. Additionally, if Oblivion is GOTY, then why isn't it also the PC GOTY? You will find various other eyebrow raising awards just by taking a look at the list below (game with the star is the winner):

Rise of the Tomb Raider is a timed Xbox exclusive, and...
...I'm so pissed, I can't see straight.
...I'm annoyed, but I can be patient.
...I'm not caring much at all.
...I think it's actually a good thing.
