Learning In The Classroom With The PS2

Remember back in the day, playing Number Munchers on a now-archaic Apple IIe in school? That was the extent of our computer learning, and ironically enough, we could only play it during recess. Well, Sony is about to bring another - much more legitimate - gaming learning tool into UK schools.

It's a massively popular series of quiz games on the PS2 called Buzz: The School's Quiz; the game asks you a question, and then you hit this giant red button when you know the answer. If you don't know the answer, you can just stare at the screen in humble confusion, dearly wishing you could hit the buzzer in confidence. To fit into the classroom, the game will create over 5,000 questions from the UK's Key Stage 2 National Curriculum, and they will further incorporate a co-op mode.

Well, that's above and beyond what we had, that's for darn sure.

Good game but not amazing.
