Push campaign announced for DOA2.
Tecmo recently revealed an upcoming advertising campaign for Dead or Alive 2: Hardcore.
The latest promotional activity for the company's acclaimed brawler was discussed by John Inada, Tecmo's marketing director. He said, "Recipients of the commercial simply click on the incoming message and the spot streams into their inbox." He continued, "Next they're treated to an action-packed, graphic-rich DOA2: Hardcore commercial, complete with action scenes and intense music." After the completion of the spot, gamers can click links to purchase the title or obtain more information about it from Tecmo's website. Furthermore, the company will support a product giveaway through the advertisement.
Throughout the campaign, Tecmo will be tracking the number of consumers exposed to the ad, forwards, clickthroughs, and survey information input.
