GC 2008 Booth Babes Draw The Eye

You know, while there are more and more female gamers in the world, the hardcore still tend to be male. This being the case, whenever you attend a conference, convention or some other sort of show or event related to the video game world, you notice that males dominate the attendance. Therefore, is it really any surprise that the concept of the "booth babe" is a positive one for many of us?

There was a time when the booth babes at E3 drew a heck of a lot of attention, and many will even admit those hot chicks helped to bring in the crowds. But then something happened with E3 - we're still not sure exactly what - and we have to turn elsewhere to get our booth babe fix. Take last week's Lepzig Games Convention, for example. That place appeared to be crawling with the babes and if you want a whole lotta sweet pics, visit this gallery and curse your unlucky stars you didn't live anywhere near Leipzig. Do we expect the same thing at the Tokyo Game Show in October? Um, yeah, we do. We assume the ladies out there will brand this idea of the "booth babe" as sexist and unfair to women and blah blah blah... Yes, well, sex sells, regardless of the venue or industry. Period.

So anyway, just thought you'd like to have a peek inside the sweeter - and hotter - side of the game show last week. You know you miss such deliciousness from E3.
