Subscribe To Sports Illustrated, Get Madden NFL 10 FREE

If you weren't part of the midnight mania launch for Madden NFL 10 but you still plan to pick it up, you might want to reconsider that trip to the store.

Many big football fans are probably subscribers to Sports Illustrated but if not, they can kill two birds with one stone: the new sign-up promotion for the world's biggest sports magazine includes a free copy of EA Sports' latest Madden incarnation, and you can choose from all available platform editions. You also get a NFL Films Madden Documentary with your order, so considering the cost of the subscription - which is only $49 - you're really getting a great deal. If you go for either the PS3 or Xbox 360 version, that's worth $60 right there; then you've got the bonus DVD and, oh yeah, the magazine itself, which is fantastic. Yes, we all know about the famous swimsuit edition but the publication routinely centers on sports 11 of the 12 months out of the year, and it features plenty of excellent writers from knowledgeable experts. If you're a sports fan, you really can't afford to not have a subscription, and this promotion is primed and ready for your attention.

More magazines need deals like this; it'll keep everyone reading print for a while longer. We just hope the entire concept of "reading" hasn't entirely disappeared.

Getting Twisted Metal on Valentine's Day?
Yep, I can't wait!
I'll get it, but not until later.
I'll have to wait for the reviews.
