Game Boy Color emulator on PS2.
Datel, the company that manufactures the Action Replay cheat device for the PSX has announced the creation of Game Studio. Game Studio is an emulator that allows PS2 owners to play Game Boy Color games on their consoles. The Game Studio can be inserted into the Magic Gate memory card slot on the face of the PS2, into the Game Studio goes a GBC game. The GBC games will then be visually enhanced on your PS2, (I really don't know how much prettier a Game Boy game can actually look, but if they say so...), techniques such as anti-aliasing will be turned on to make GBC games look cleaner. Dual Shock 2 is also compatible with this, the force-feedback will indeed work with many GBC games, which is a pretty good idea. Of course like any emulator, a cheating device will come along implemented into the Game Studio. The Game Studio will be released in Europe during April for $60. No North American release has been spoken of.
