Star Wars: Super Bombad Racing gone gold.

Lucas Arts proudly announces that their second Star Wars game has completed the development process and has gone gold. Star Wars: Super Bombad Racing has now entered the manufacturing stage, and is scheduled to be released at the end of April. Super Bombad Racing is a kart-racer that takes place during the Episode One era in the Star Wars world. It will star eight Star Wars characters, including Darth Maul, Yoda, Obi-Wan and Boss Nass. They will use kart-like or miniature vehicles as their method of transportation, and will be able to pick up 25 different items, such as weapons and power-ups.

The game will include five gameplay modes, and various trademark Star Wars locales to raise some kart hell. Super Bombad Racing is a multiplayer title that supports up to 4 players, and marks the first time a kart racer is released on the PS2, hooray! In the meantime, why don't you just check out some of the screens we have on the game, and the preview.
