Activision unleashes with Bloody Roar 3.
It seems as if Activision is doing everything right these days, they have hired and acquired one of the best developers in the industry (Neversoft), they have picked up licenses that will surely drive them cash (Simpsons Wrestling) and now they have picked up another license that is bound to hit hard on the PS2. Bloody Roar 3, published by Namco/Hudson in Japan, Activision announced the US publishing rights to BR3 and had this to say:
"This agreement underscores our commitment to strategically seek out high quality next-generation console games and bring them to the North American marketplace," said Larry Goldberg, executive vice president, Activision Worldwide Studios. "The Bloody Roar" franchise is known for its excellent design and intense gameplay. This version for the PlayStation 2 combines the best elements of the previous titles and takes the game into a whole new realm, capitalizing on the system's visual appeal and gameplay speed."
Activision has also said that a firm June release date is established for Bloody Roar 3. BR3 will also feature an incredibly furious two-player mode and 14 characters in total. Click here for the full preview.
