Rayman to have a party.

Every mascot now must have a party title, Mario started it, Crash followed, Sonic followed but miserably failed and now Ubisoft's limbless wonder UbiSoft will follow suit as he is planning on appearing in his very party title for PS2. Rayman M is one of the 22 games that UbiSoft will release for the Playstation 2 within the next year or so. UbiSoft will include four-player gameplay to take full advantage of a party. The game will feature Rayman 2 based areas, where gamers can play each other via split-screen. Characters such as Rayman, Ly (the fairy) and Globox will be the starring cast, but a few others have remained yet to be announced, and E3 will be the likely time according to UbiSoft.

The characters will be able to jump, fly, run, shoot energy spheres, and slide just as Rayman himself can. The point of the game is to be the last character standing, by setting booby traps and whatnot, you must try to be the victor. Rayman M has been appointed a November 2001 release date, a PC version will follow shortly, as well as an XBox version in 2002. More info on Rayman M will be given out at E3 2001.
