Konami's ESPN Soccer for Playstation 2 hits American retailers.

Storied third party developer Konami and ESPN's game development studio announced yesterday that ESPN MLS Extra Time, the result of a joint project between the two companies, has been shipped to American shores. The anticipated title has drawn early praise for having an exemplary level of presentation, and also boasts gameplay based upon the sturdy foundation of the vaunted ISS soccer engine.

The game hit most American retailers yesterday, carrying an MSRP of $49.99.
