Saleen and Activision get together.
I'm sure you've heard the word "Saleen" before, but never knew what it stood for. You may have seen the name tagged onto many Ford Mustangs before, and wondered what or who is Saleen. That's easy, Steve Saleen is one of the world best performance car designers, he has toyed with cars such as Ford Mustangs, and one of his latest projects include a McLaren F1 look-alike titled "Saleen S7". The vehicle is Colorado Gold, and will hit the production scene next year. The Saleen made a debuted at the New York International Auto Show in April, and proud members of the PSX Extreme staff witnessed the car in its full glory. Now imagine Steve Saleen, in charge of helping Activison create a more life-like and authentic racer, that is revolved around concept designs. Sounds awesome huh?
"Steve Saleen is an undisputed master in the design of high performance vehicles, and his revolutionary S7 is a good example of his creative genius," states Greg Goldstein, vice president of licensing, Activision. "In adding his expertise and name to Supercar Street Challenge, it is our goal to create the most exciting street racing game to date."
Working closely with Steve Saleen is sure to make sparks fly when Supercar Street Challenge roars onto the PS2, this Summer. Look for more screenshots during E3, next week.
