THQ's E3 plans.

Today acclaimed publisher of the WWF Smackdown series, THQ, announced their line up of games scheduled for the Playstation and Playstation 2 that will be shown off at this year's E3. Of course Red Faction is one of the "duh" games and same goes for Motorcross 2002 feat. Ricky Carmichael. But what few may have expected was the revelation of WWF Smackdown for PS2.

"Consistent with our strategy, this year's E3 will showcase the strength of THQ as we unveil a balanced line-up of original and licensed content for both current and next generation systems," said Brian Farrell, president and CEO of THQ. "Along with original brands like 'Red Faction' and 'MX 2002 featuring Ricky Carmichael' for PlayStation 2 and our next generation World Wrestling Federation games, we are introducing several new titles featuring globally recognized brands like Nickelodeon, Hot Wheels and Disney. THQ is also expanding into the wireless market with a new mobile gaming strategy."

The list goes as follows:

Red Faction
MX 2002 featuring Ricky Carmichael
WWF SmackDown! "Just Bring It"
Jimmy Neutron, Boy Genius
Tetris Worlds
BASS Strike

SpongeBob SquarePants: SuperSponge
Rocket Power: Team Rocket Rescue
Hot Wheels Extreme Racing
Power Rangers Time Force
Scooby-Doo and the Cyber Chase

We'll try to overload our servers with screenshots and impressions next week. Until then, "you are the weakest link... g'bye".
